US stocks closed positive on Post-Fed party

FXStreet (San Francisco) - Wall Street finished Thursday with a positive note as investors digested mixed US economic data as well as they welcomed Fed's script and schedule to hike rates no sooner than 2015.

The Dow Jones rallied 109.14 pts or 0.64% to finish at 17,265.99; the S&P 500 added 9.79 pts or 0.49% to close the day at 2,011.36; while the Nasdaq Composite won 31.24 pts or 0.68% to 4,593.42.

AUD/NZD testing weekly lows

The aussie managed to recover ground against the US dollar, but versus the kiwi fell for the second day in a row. AUD/NZD ahead of the Asian session is testing weekly lows that lie around 1.1020.
