German Bundestag approves start of negotiations for a new Greek bailout

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The German parliament, the Bundestag, has approved approved FinMin Schaeuble's request for start of negotiations for a new Greek bailout.

Parliament voted 439-119 in favour of the new debt negotiations. Earlier today, Germany’s Schaeuble gave a go ahead to negotiate the third package for Greece, while stating that it is the last attempt to solve Greek crisis.

CAD/JPY testing lows near 95.50, CPI in focus

The Canadian dollar continues to underperform its Japanese peer ahead of US open, pushing CAD/JPY near session lows. The Canadian dollar remains undermined across the board ahead of the key CPI figures from both the US and Canada due out shortly.
