EMU: Annual CPI up 0.7% in February

FXStreet (Barcelona) - According to data released today by Eurostat, Eurozone annual inflation rose 0.7% in February, down from 0.8% growth registered the previous month. Analysts expected +0.8%. On a monthly basis CPI increased 0.3% in February, after sliding 1.1% in January, slightly below forecasts of +0.4%.

Year-over-year Core CPI rose 1.0% in February, following a 0.8% increase in January.
