US: China still considering US soybean import curbs

Reuters quoted a US Soybean Export Council executive on Thursday, as saying that China is still considering action on curbing imports from the US.

His comments come after a meeting with China’s Agriculture Minister held earlier this week. The executive described China’s action as a 'nuclear option' on trade.

It’s worth noting that China imports around 60% of soybeans traded worldwide.
