AUD/NZD rebounds at 1.0640

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The AUD/NZD finished lower on Thursday posting the first daily decline in a week. On Wednesday climbed to 1.0739, reaching the strongest level in two weeks but lost upside momentum and retreated sharply, bottoming on Thursday at 1.0640 (3-day low).

After finding support around 1.0640/50 the Aussie recovered ground and rose on American hours trimming losses. It close the day at 1.0680 and early in Asia is rising further approaching 1.0700. At the moment of writing trades at 1.0687, at daily highs.

The AUD/NZD is headed toward the second weekly gain in a row. Since October of last year than the pair does not rises for two consecutive weeks. Despite moving toward the upside in the last days, remain near multi-year lows that lie at 1.0480.

Japans Inflation Numbers Positive

Overall, the inflation numbers for Japan are a positive input for the Bank of Japan, which aims to achieve an era of sustainable 2% inflation in the economy.
